Wedding Invitations

"We search the internet for Wedding invitations, however none of which suited our needs. We decided to ask Matt to design some for us and gave him the license to design as he liked, with one desire being that they were lilac. I wanted them to be extra special, one of a kind invitations for our special day and I'm chuffed to bits he's done this for us"

Project Goals/Challenges

My brief was to design two invitations which worked well with each other and linked to the theme of the wedding. One was to be for those invited to the wedding and the other for those invited to the reception. I came up with five initial ideas, which were then narrowed down to two which were developed upon until the lucky couple were pleased with their invitations.

Results & Achievements

Both invitations are lilac, recognisable in being a set and completely unique. I wanted to get these embossed which would really have set them out, however due to time restraints of a Wedding I was sadly unable to do this. However, even without this extra printing effect the designs I am really chuffed about.

Other Information

Clients were exceptional and worked alongside me at all stages of design, which helped the project run smoothly. In the short amount of time I had from start to finish the final invitations we are all extremely pleased with.
